I have recently seen something how Google is penalizing Duplicate Content.
The original content was in: web.bizbangladesh.com. They may have taken this specific line from www.bluelavastudio.com. Anyway, they have workable contents. However, some of the sites in Bangladesh have copied the same text from BizBangladesh’s website.
I have searched a content used in that site with double quote, specifically: "We work closely with every client to create a site that incorporates a well-defined marketing strategy and brand identity". That’s another hard way to find duplicates without using copyscape.com
I found this result:

You see only 2 results showing the original content pages but a link at the bottom saying, “repeat the search with the omitted results included”.
If you click the link, we get this:

The bottom line is: Google is now penalizing your duplicate content by putting your webpage behind bars which can only be opened by clicking the link called: “repeat the search with the omitted results included”.
This is probably not a good example of real life environment. However, think if the previous result with 2 websites (Bizbangladesh.com & Bluelavastudio.com) was about 5 pages long. i.e. Google sometimes show 1-5 pages from some specific results. Then you would find the “repeat the search with the omitted results included” link at the 5th page. After clicking the link, you would find all the results with duplicate contents, i.e. the result before the Duplicate Content Filter update.
Google is identifying that BDInfoTech.net is a copier of the contents from Bizbangladesh.com. But, Google is not actually penalizing the BDInfoTech.net site. If you search for site: BDInfoTech.net in Google, then you’ll find the above page cached. But, Google just is not giving any credit to that specific content, specifically: "We work closely with every client to create a site that incorporates a well-defined marketing strategy and brand identity" to the BDInfoTech.net.
